When
a user wishes to send a Fax through the Internet, the procedure
again is as normal, but the number dialed with a special character.
The dialed number now may either be a speed dial number which
has a corresponding email address stored in the FaxDialer or a
normal destination Fax number. Now, the FaxDialer receives the
Fax from the Fax machine and then start dialing to the local ISP
to connect to the Internet. Once connected it sends the Fax received
as an email with a file attachment.
Faxing
to another Fax machine will require SetuFax Service which will
deliver this file attachment to the destination Fax machine like
a normal Fax
Press
* to send fax to any fax machine and ** to send fax to any email
address.
If
the Fax is sent to an email address then the receiver of that
email can view or print the Fax from his computer.
The
FaxDialer can also download a Fax (send by another FaxDialer)
from an Email box and print to the local fax machine. This valuable
feature enables two users to send Faxes at local call rate (Fax
to Fax) using just their email addresses. Fax forwarding is another
new technology feature offered by the FaxDialer, which brings
in an all-new dimension to Fax communications.
The
FaxDialer can also be instructed to receive Faxes like a normal
Fax machine and then forward this Fax to a pre configured email
address. This means that irrespective of where you are, you will
always be able to view your Faxes received at your office or home
through your email box.
